When it comes to your wedding flowers, have you thought about who will have what on the day?
Its OK if not, I remember knowing exactly what I wanted from my bridal bouquet, and everything else was a second thought..
When it comes to who has what, there are some people you may want to consider or ditch depending on your budget.
Consider who is in your wedding party or who you want in your wedding party.
This comes down to personal preference but generally includes members of your family & friends, People who will be Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Flowers Girls then you need to think about close family members such as Grandparents, Mum’s, Dad’s, Aunties and Uncles the list could on but I’m not going to ..
Make your List if you have not done so already, It will help when you are shopping for other stuff like gifts, dresses and suits..anyway back to the task in hand…
So who has What..
Brides you lucky ladies get the big (if you so wish) bouquet, and a tossing tossing bouquet, if you want to keep the tradition and not ruin your bouquet.
I only had one bouquet for my wedding and as I wanted to keep it I decided to ditch that particular tradition…
Bridesmaids, traditionally they have a bouquet similar to the brides but smaller, but if you don’t like the idea of them have a bouquet then opt for something a little different like a wrist corsage, if your fab bridesmaids are having a bag to match their outfit then it may look to much anyway, so something simpler would look great.
The little ones, flower girls, mini bridesmaids, these little cuties get a choice of a few things, a small/mini Bouquet, a basket to throw the petals (flower girl), Wrist Corsages or a wand, the wand and basket will have a small flower arrangement on them or a mini bouquet if they are not trowing petals on the aisle.
For the mini men, Page boys, who am I kidding they all act the same age..that’s why men and boys all the same thing, Buttonholes (boys with badge backs, Men with pins). These are also for best-man, groomsmen, ushers, Father of the Bride, Father of the Groom, your Granddad, Uncle etc..
Below I have made a short list of who has what, I hope this helps.
